The Reason for Black Suffering

Peace to the Gods and Goddesses of the foundation;

Much love goes to New York City;

And mad respect to London;

For those unfamiliar with the concept of black Hebraism I will recommend you read over my previous blogs The African Roots of Hebraism and Children of the Kingdom to get a deeper understanding.

It appears that the formulation of Black identity is stuck in a complex vortex. We as a people are lost and forsaken.

As the prophet Hosea said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”; (Habakkuk) but, “the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Hosea 4: 6; Habakkuk 2: 14).

We, the people of God, have a destiny; we are to represent God to this world even as Moses represented God to Pharaoh, “And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet” (Exodus 7: 1).

God said to our ancestors, “Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

“And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation” (Exodus 19: 6).

But we have not kept covenant with God and have worshiped a blond haired, blue eyed, White Jesus and White god; the god of the Gentiles around us, who captured us and oppressed us. We have become the image of our ancestors who turned to worship the gods of the heathen.

It is written that “they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:

“But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

“For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

“When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

“So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;

“And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy’s hand” (Psalms 78: 56-61).

Not that God had not foreseen our treachery in advance for he prophesied by Moses, “If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

“Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

“Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

“Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

“And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.

“And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

“And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

“And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

“And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

“In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

“And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you” (Deuteronomy 28: 58-68).

Clearly, this is talking about us and not the Ashkenazi Jews, who though predominantly are now atheist fulfil none of this.

But if this prophecy of judgment and wrath is for we Black people, then these promises are for us too, “Therefore behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

“But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land” (Jeremiah 23: 7, 8).

“And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

“And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountain of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

“Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

“And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

“And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

“Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore” (Ezekiel 37: 21-28).

We may have been scattered to the ends of the earth, but God will restore us.

Your salvation will not slumber, your victory will not sleep. You need only open your eyes and know thy self.

That means remembering who you are and living in God’s plan for us as a people.

We Black people are the true Israel, and though I respect that the millions of Ashkenazis killed in the Holocaust is no light thing, I feel no problem acknowledging that they are not the real Israel spoken of in the Bible.

We have been kept in darkness for over four hundred years now, as we have not considered that the European Jews could in fact be the result of a conversion, so we have also, in effect, been blind to the warnings of the Bible for our people.

For us to move on to the next level we are going to have to start valuing the God of the prophets and accepting that this God is our God and that his message was to our people. With this in mind we can start progressing as a people and finding our true place in the world.
